Capcon Awarded Silver EcoVadis Medal

Capcon Engineering has been awarded a Silver Medal by EcoVadis, a globally trusted provider of business sustainability ratings that has rated more than 150,000 companies. Placing us within the Top 15% of companies evaluated for a medal in 2025, we view this latest achievement as a clear recognition of our sustainable and ethical approach to rainwater management.

How we were assessed

After being listed in the Other Specialised Construction Activities category, our performance was measured across four key areas:

  • Environment: We ranked first within this category, with EcoVadis praising our numerous airtight policies as clear proof of our diligence. Our reporting on water, waste, and energy consumption was described as particularly comprehensive, with our materiality analysis in sustainability reporting highlighted as a core strength.
  • Ethics: Ranking second in our category here, our policies on ethical issues, corruption, and fraud were also strongly praised, with the many measures we have put in place for whistleblowers, incident response, and data protection singled out.
  • Labour and Human Rights: We were also highly commended for our excellent working conditions, especially our policies surrounding health and safety; implementation of reasonable working hours; comprehensive employee training initiatives; effective accident prevention measures; and overall flexibility.
  • Sustainable Procurement: Our comprehensive sustainable procurement policies, both concerning social and environmental factors, were also highly commended.

What this means for Capcon

Going forward, this award strengthens our responsibility to stay transparent in how we work and to keep raising the bar on sustainability. As demand grows for resilient building solutions, we’re determined to keep applying these principles in the way we engineer our rainwater management solutions, from siphonic drainage and rainwater harvesting to full end-to-end design, scope and implementation.
