Senior Pipefitter
We are currently recruiting a Senior Pipefitter / Lead Technician for supervisory, team leader role
Capcon Engineering are rainwater roof drainage specialists providing design consultation and sub-contractor services for architects, engineers and main contractors in large scale construction.
Due to immediate requirements, we are currently recruiting a Lead Technician who will work alongside fellow crew members on various projects installing pipework, fittings & components whilst fulfilling a supervisory / team leader role.
You will be joining the business at a key time of growth and developing your career with exciting projects. The position will require a self-motivated individual who can work well as part of a team but also be capable of working on your own initiative.

Responsibilities
The primary role of our Lead Technician is to fulfil a supervisory / team leader role whilst working as a technician, providing on the spot guidance to fellow crew members and helping correct any job skill deficiencies.
- Health & safety requirements and compliance
- Discharge all health & safety documentation
- Installation of pipework, fittings and components
- Responsible for the administration of all onsite projects
- Working with established budgets to provide cost effective solutions
- Resource, programme and prioritise work
- Support operations staff for scheme appraisals
- Provide value-engineered solutions to problems
- Awareness of contract management and contract law
Your Skills & Experience
- Experience in a similar role an advantage
- Ability to work on your own initiative
- Good communication skills
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings
- Willing to travel
