Maintenance Technician

Capcon Engineering Ltd is a market leader in the design, installation, and maintenance of advanced rainwater drainage systems for high-tech and large-scale commercial projects across the globe.

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Drainage Maintenance Technician to join our Drainage Maintenance Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, and repair of siphonic rainwater drainage systems, ensuring they always operate efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure adherence to Health & Safety requirements and compliance.
  • Carry out routine maintenance and inspections of siphonic rainwater drainage systems.
  • Complete detailed maintenance reports and record all work undertaken.
  • Effectively prioritise areas of work.
  • Ensuring works area are kept clean and tidy.
  • Communicate well at all levels.
  • Assist with reactive maintenance as required.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in drainage, plumbing, or building maintenance (advantageous).
  • Strong problem solving and diagnostic skills.
  • Good understanding of siphonic rainwater systems (training will be provided).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willing to travel.
  • Full, clean Irish driver’s licence (essential).
  • Full time role with occasional overtime or weekend work as and when required.
