Direct Report: Regional Manager

Key Relationships: Managing Director / Operations Directors / Commercial

Capcon Engineering Ltd are global specialists in high-performance rainwater roof drainage systems. Our work spans design consultancy, off-site fabrication, and full-service installation across major construction projects including data centres, airports, pharma, commercial, and high-tech buildings.

Due to immediate requirements, we are currently recruiting an ambitious Sales & Business Development Manager to help drive our APAC operations forward. The successful candidate will play a critical role assisting the development of Capcon’s presence in the region. You will be joining the business at a key time of growth and developing your career with exciting projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities
  • Act as primary point of contact with existing and prospective clients building client relationships
  • Lead contract negotiations & closing deals
  • Prepare, review, and submit all tender documentation
  • Manage workload effectively
  • Provide regular detailed reports to senior management & Board of Directors
  • Demonstrate good proficiency in MS Office suite
  • Site visit for tender familiarization if required
  •  

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Marketing, Business admin or relevant
  • At least 10 years previous work experience
  • Strong team player with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with operations & management
  • Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia
  • Competent in reading and understanding plans and construction drawings
  • An active client base for immediate engagement
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willing to travel
